SLIP RESISTANCE: Ceramics come in various finishes, from polished and satin to matt. Slip resistance is given as an R value. For bathroom flooring we recommend R9 or higher.

EASY CLEANING AND HYGIENE: Ceramics are non-porous and absorb neither moisture nor stains. Water and a neutral cleaner are all you need for daily cleaning. The surface also inhibits bacteria, mould and fungi, keeping your bathroom hygienic.

ARE CERAMICS RESISTANT TO SCRATCHES, MOISTURE AND CLEANING PRODUCTS?

Yes, ceramics are extremely resistant to scratches, water and chemicals, which makes them ideal for bathrooms. You need not worry about stains on your tiles, because porcelain stoneware has a water absorption of less than 0.5%.

Yes. Like stone, ceramics conduct heat very well, which makes them ideal for underfloor heating.

Yes. Some tiles imitate natural stone such as marble or granite remarkably well. We also stock tiles with a concrete, metal or wood look.
