Outdoor tiles have a slip-resistant surface, are very durable and come in many looks, which makes them ideal for balconies, terraces and pool surrounds. Ceramics also look good on vertical surfaces, creating beautiful and long-lasting facades.

Benefits of porcelain stoneware
HIGH RESISTANCE TO WEAR AND SCRATCHES: ideal for all rooms, indoors and out.
WATER-RESISTANT– thanks to very low water absorption, neither moisture nor stains can penetrate.
EASY CARE: cleaning is quick and easy.
FROST AND TEMPERATURE RESISTANT– the dense mineral structure stops water from penetrating and makes the tiles weatherproof.

XXL CERAMICS
XXL ceramics are very much on trend in interior design. Large formats look generous and elegant and give an almost seamless look with barely visible joints.
They are suitable for large areas such as walls in living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, as well as for facades. They are also ideal for furniture, worktops and other elements with clean lines and calm surfaces. There is a suitable slab for every use. We are happy to help you choose, or you can look at the individual product page.

Slip resistance classes
When choosing tiles for indoor spaces, especially bathrooms, slip resistance (the R value) matters. It shows how much grip the surface has. The higher the R value, the more slip-resistant, or rougher, the tile.
R9: NORMAL SLIP RESISTANCE, suitable for all indoor rooms (usually enough for bathrooms too)
R10: INCREASED SLIP RESISTANCE, for indoor rooms with constant water contact and for outdoor areas (a good compromise between slip resistance and easy cleaning)
R11: HIGH SLIP RESISTANCE, recommended for outdoors
R12–R13: VERY HIGH SLIP RESISTANCE, suitable for outdoors

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
CARING FOR TILES
Care is simple. A dry or damp cloth is usually all you need. For tiles with higher slip resistance we recommend cleaning with a pressure washer because of the rougher surface. Because porcelain stoneware is non-porous, no extra products or coatings are needed.
ARE TILES SUITABLE FOR ALL ROOMS?
That depends on the type of ceramics. All the tiles in our range (except some decorative wall tiles) are porcelain stoneware and suitable for any use.
ARE TILES SLIPPERY?
Polished surfaces can be more slippery, so we stock tiles in many slip resistance classes. For wet areas and stairs we recommend a slip-resistant surface. Visit our showroom and we will be happy to advise you.
LAYING IN ADHESIVE
For walkable outdoor areas such as balconies and terraces, tiles 2 cm or 1 cm thick are suitable. Pay attention to slip resistance. With thinner tiles, smaller formats (60 × 60 cm) are advisable.
For areas that will be driven on, we recommend a thickness of 2 cm.
LAYING ON PEDESTALS
For laying on pedestals we recommend a thickness of 2 cm.
